COVID-19 Workplace Violence in
Healthcare - Zed Zha, MD
Dr. Zed Zha discusses the prevalence and etiology of workplace violence
along with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Victims, perpetrators,
and motives for violence are described. Facilities need to implement a
reporting system. Post-incident, facilities should perform a root-cause
analysis, debriefing and reflection. In addition, there needs to be
organizational support provided to victims. Finally, strategies for
prevention and implications for the future are presented. Health Watch
