COVID-19: KY Levels Too High, Curtailing
Federal Vaccination & Testing Funding
Dr. Kevin Kavanagh from Health Watch USAsm reviews the
current status of Monkeypox, Polio and COVID-19. Public health measures
and vaccinations appear to be bringing monkeypox and polio under
control, but COVID-19 has plateaued at a low but too high level. In
Kentucky we have just under 600 hospitalizations. The Federal Government
has announced plans to curtail their free vaccination, testing and
treatment programs for all. Testing and vaccinations will still have
mandatory coverage by insurance, but one will not be able to walk into a
pharmacy and obtain a test, no questions asked. Federal tests can still
be ordered from https://covid.gov/tests. Aug. 29, 2022.
